Description

The Globus Eurogoal 1500 - Soccer Ball Shooting Machine has a shot power with a speed of up to 140 km/h, exceptional maneuverability of the shooting device to create an infinite number of trajectories with all the desired effects. It is the top-of-the-range model of the soccer training machine range, perfect to train goalkeepers, defenders and strikers. Get to know more here!

Actions and Benefits

  • Shot power speed: up to 140 km/h.
  • Exceptional maneuverability of the shooting device to create an infinite number of trajectories with all the desired effects.
  • Triaxial system patented by Globus.
  • The trainer can regulate the upward/downward and right/left shooting and tilt the shooting point sideways to change the trajectory curve.
  • It has vertical movement.
  • It has a self-stabilizing movement.
  • The trainer can switch from one kind of shot to another in just a few seconds without mistakes.

Electronic control unit and electronic control of speed

Thanks to this new electronic device, it is possible to maintain balls speed constant even when you are training with high-pace shooting sequences. The led light on the shooting plate shows to the trainer that the speed of both wheels has reached the preset stored values in order to obtain exactly the same kind of shot.

5 Memory slots to store different shooting typologies with different spin effects

The new electronic control unit permits the storage of the most used shooting settings so that they can be recalled by simply pressing a memory button. The trainer will be able to switch from one kind of shot to another very easily, without wasting any time to change the machine’s settings. It enables to create hundreds of exercises at a high pace and with the utmost shooting precision in a very short time.

Eurogoal 1500 Spin shots

1 – Powerful shots and slow shots - from 10 to more than 140 Km/h

The ball speed is determined by the rotation speed of the shooting wheels: the desired speed from 10 Km/h to more than 140 Km/h can be set on the control panel by means of the SPEED buttons. The trainer can set the ball to the exact speed necessary to carry out the technical exercises properly.

2 – Shots with no spin

When the wheels rotate at the same speed, the ball is shot with no spin and its trajectory will be linear and with no-curl, just affected by the force of gravity and air friction.
For short distances and with speeds lower than 60 Km/h (laminar resistance), the trajectory basically remains stable and predictable, as shown in the pictures below.

For long trajectories or with ball speed higher than 70 Km/h the ball, passing from a turbulent resistance to a laminar resistance in the final phase undergoes large fluctuations of the trajectory. These effects make the ball trajectory difficult to predict for the goalkeeper.

3 – Shots with spin and left or right curl (Magnus effect)

To spin the ball, it is just necessary to rotate shooting wheels at different speeds: the higher this difference, the higher the spin and, therefore, the trajectory curl due to the Magus effect. The Magnus effect will curl the ball to the left or to the right, to the part of the shooting wheel that rotates slower.

4 – Shots with super spin (Top Spin)

To give this specific spin to the ball trajectory, the shooting wheels are to be inclined sideways to apply the Magnus effect on the vertical axis and make the balls close the trajectory. This is the typical spin that is given in a free-kick with wall to combine shooting power with a bend permitting to go beyond the wall obstacle into the goal.

5 – Shots with an extended bend (Back Spin)

Maintaining the same wheel inclination as in the Top Spin, invert the wheel speed setting so that the ball is shot with a rotation opposite to that of Top Spin. This way, an extended trajectory is obtained, with lower arching and with the ball that tends to fall at the end of the trajectory.
This kind of shot is particularly difficult to face for the goalkeeper because the ball falls suddenly and unpredictably at the end of the trajectory.

Shoot Settings

The basic settings to effectively manage the shooting system of the ball shooting machine are four:

1) Lifting and lowering the trajectory to obtain shots or low, midair crosses or crosses at the top corner of the goal.

The Triaxial System (patented by Globus) permits to change shooting height to obtain low shots or shots at different heights (for example, midair or at the top corner of the goal). The movement takes place by means of an electrical motor reducer that quickly lifts and lowers the wheels to the desired position.

2) Horizontal movement to shoot at the left or right of the goalkeeper.

“Moving horizontally” means that it is possible to move the wheels horizontally to shoot the ball at the left or at the right of the goalkeeper or a target. Just hold the handles and push them laterally to shoot at the desired directions.

3) Side inclination to obtain topspin and backslash shots.

Thanks to the triaxial system, it can be inclined laterally, thus creating shooting trajectories with great arching, like in the free kicks with wall (TOP SPIN), or with spin flattening (BACKSLASH).
To incline the Eurogoal machine laterally, lower the handle sideways until the wheels are in an oblique position.

4) Speed setting of the shooting wheels to obtain the desired spin.

Setting of ball speed: the speed of the two sheels is set by means of the two buttons on the left of the control panel, which increases or decreases the spinning speed of the motors and, as a consequence, the shooting speed of the ball.

Setting of the arching of trajectories: in the central part of the control panel, there are two buttons, which permit to set automatically the arching of the trajectory towards the left or the right in a very precise way and, notably, independently from the ball speed.

5) Storage of shot settings.

The control panel has 5 memory buttons that make the use of the machine on the pitch very easy.
Indeed, by keeping a button pressed for some time, it is possible to store the settings of speed and spin. By keeping a button pressed for a short time, it is possible to recall previously-stored settings.

FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)

Which balls can be used?

Any match soccer ball. It is recommended not to use low-quality balls because their performance is lower. Please, ensure that all balls are inflated at the same pressure (see the values recommended by the manufacturer).

What customer service is available as regards repairs?

In general, the rare cases in which parts break have to do with parts that can be easily replacing on the spot. It is sufficient to send the broken part back to immediately receive the replacement!

How often should the rubber spinning wheels be replaced?

The rubber wheels don't easily wear out. This depends on how much the machine is used. However, Globus recommends to replace the wheels every 2 years in order to maintain excellent performance, thus avoiding damages to the balls.

What is the warranty for EuroGoal?

The warranty is one year on all electronic components, and two years on all mechanical parts.

How long does EuroGoal charge last?

EuroGoal can work uninterruptedly for more than 8 hours when fully charged batteries are installed. We recommend to recharging batteries as soon as the “battery low charge” led light turns on.

Do shooting wheels leave marks on balls?

If compared to other machines on the market, EuroGoal can safeguard balls from wearing out quickly. The new system with rubber wheels guarantees a natural degree of wearing out even to the most delicate balls.

How can different match situations be simulated?

EuroGoal can be easily carried and its trajectory can be changed effortlessly, so there are no limits to possible exercises in any part of the field.

What is the maximum shooting pace?

The time depends only on the organization of the exercise. Only 3 seconds have to pass to obtain shots at the same speed and with no variations at all.

What is the ball speed?

Ball speed can range from 10 Km/h up to 140 Km/h according to the desired spin effect. By changing shooting inclination, it is possible to increase or decrease the trajectory, and by pointing the machine to the left or to the right, the ball can be shot anywhere.

How can EuroGoal be moved in the field during training sessions?

EuroGoal has three rubber wheels that permit to pull it quickly to any part of the field. To secure it in a position, just block the rear wheel when in position.

Who can use the EuroGoal ball shooting machine?

EuroGoal is a training instrument that adapts very well to any different playing level. It can be used by junior teams, where it is used mainly to teach and refine technique, up to high-level professional teams that look for the utmost technical quality to simulate real match situations.
